LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Career development is a relational activity. Whether you are connecting with others in the comfort of your own home through one of our conference calls or coming to an in-person workshop or retreat, connecting with people will be an important part of finding answers to your questions. I have over a decade of experience in workshop design and facilitation and cover topics like communication, conflict resolution, networking and strategic planning. Job Search Support Groups
These peer-to-peer groups are designed to be a social outlet for giving people the mutual support they need during times of job transition. Job searches can be lonely and isolating and connecting with other people that are sharing similar experiences can be both uplifting and motivating. These sessions are designed to provide safe space for mutual encouragement and information and resource sharing. Meetings are held bi-monthly in Toronto.
Beginning to think of my career – a group for youth grade 9-12
The high school years are a time of growth and learning in so many different areas of life. It is never too early to start thinking of and reflecting on the things you like to do every day and high school provides a perfect time in life to really experiment with more than just what we are good at doing, but also what we really enjoy doing. This fun and interactive workshop for youth is designed to help young people begin thinking of the things they love doing in the context of career and self-development and to reframe the high school years as an opportunity for research and learning.
Parent Groups – Raising Career Minded Kids
This workshop helps parents reflect on their values related to work and how they can impart values to their children that support them in making healthy career related decisions for themselves. It is designed to be a safe space for parents to share their concerns and hopes, as well as an opportunity to offer mutual support and encouragement among families facing similar challenges.
