There is no such thing as a linear career trajectory. We are always making choices about our work and job circumstances to meet changing needs and the conditions of a constantly changing economy. Career counselling is personal work that will help you gain valuable skills and insights about your needs and preferences give you the opportunity to make a new plan for moving forward with confidence in your career.

Career Transition Program

This is a popular package for people that would like to do career development exploration through coaching and counselling assessments. It does not include job search tools, resume building or interview skills and strategy that are included in the full transition package. Perfect for someone in a period of career exploration.

Includes:

  • Introductory meeting to review your personal and career goals
  • Comprehensive assessments to uncover your strengths and find your best job fit based on your skills and interests
  • Digital and hard copies of your career reports and one-on- one interpretation of your career reports by a trained career development practitioner
  • Special access to educational resources and activities to help you continue with your career development work at home

*Total of 5 hours of in-session time

Career Counselling Services

Book a one-on-one session to give voice to your dilemmas, fears and anxieties around your career and find clarity in your direction. These sessions are solutions-focused, helping people recover and integrate their work-related dreams into their present life circumstances.

Career Development Educational Resources

Do your own career development work on your own time at home. We have a comprehensive book of activities available to clients for their own use that will help you reflect on and understand what you want from your career and how to get it. Resources include reflective activities, resume building tools, networking activities and more.

Interview Preparation

In these one-hour sessions you will have the best possible interview preparation for the job you are going after. These sessions will analyze the job description, review your resume, and do a mock interview to chase away your nervousness. This is a highly recommended hour-long investment.

Strong Interest Inventory Career Assessment

For over 75 years, The Strong Interest Inventory® career assessment has helped people in their search for a rich and fulfilling career. The Strong measures your interest in a broad range of occupations, work activities, leisure activities, and school subjects. The assessment compares how your interests are similar to the interests of people successfully and happily employed in their occupations. It is used to help people understand their work interests and to illustrate the kinds of work in which you might be most satisfied.

Resumes and cover letters provide a brief glimpse of our professional experience for a potential employer. Learn the tools of the results-based resume and cover letter and make your experience shine. With employers receiving hundreds of resumes per job posting, you will need to make yours stand out from the rest. With this service you will feel confident that you are putting forward your most competitive application.
